For 37 years, the Junior League of Arlington has partnered with local agencies by providing funding and volunteer hours to projects that improve our community. Projects and grants are selected that further the mission of the Junior League of Arlington and connect with our focus area and position statements.

As part of our advocacy efforts, the Junior League of Arlington identified a number of broad public issues that affect our community and adopted position statements. A position statement is the basis or frame of reference for which JLA can conduct advocacy. They allow JLA, alone or in collaboration with other community partners, to participate in a coalition; support, oppose, introduce or amend legislation; and educate our membership and community on the impact of issues we are facing.
